Frequently Asked Questions

Unless otherwise stated, all items are designed and handcrafted using 9ct or 18ct gold, 925 sterling silver, 999 fine silver, genuine gemstones and the finest pearls. 

It is a legal requirement for an Assay Office to  hallmark articles containing precious metals if they are described as such.  There are however exemptions for items below certain weights - silver 7.78g, gold and palladium over 1g and platinum over 0.5g. 

Any silver items I make that are below 7.78g will not be hallmarked by the Assay Office.  They will however be stamped .925.

Orders for in stock items can be placed direct via the website.

I accept all major credit and debit cards as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay.

I currently use Stripe as my payment service provider who will encrypt your card or bank account details in a secure environment. 

All items of jewellery purchased from LizzyAnneCreations will be presented in a beautifully branded box, with a choice of ribbon colours.  A gift bag is also available at an additional cost.  Just select your choices when adding your item(s) to your basket.

I am only able to dispatch orders to UK addresses (including Jersey, Guernsey, Northern Ireland and Isle of Man).

I usually aim to dispatch in stock items within 2-3 working days, but please allow 1 week for any made to order items.

Delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 48 is included as standard at no extra cost. Delivery usually takes 2-4 working days.

Optional upgrade to Royal Mail Special Delivery is available at an additional cost at checkout. Delivery usually takes 1-2 working days.

A signature may be required on delivery.

As per Royal Mail policy, delivery times do not include weekends and bank holidays.

Any jewellery made with precious metals will gain some kind of surface oxidisation which will alter the colour and brightness of the metals. Below is some advice on how to take care of your jewellery:

• Highly polished jewellery should be cleaned with an anti-tarnish silver or gold polishing cloth.
• Matte jewellery should be cleaned with a green kitchen scourer and washing up liquid under running water. Dry thoroughly to avoid water marks.
• All pearls and gemstones should be treated with an element of fragility. Do not submerge them in cleaning solutions, like silver dip.
